The site is part of the Natura 2000 network which seeks to integrate nature into responsible economic development. You will find two supervised beaches and some wild ones, some very good restaurants with a view, water activities and the happiness of a preserved place for a quiet holiday in harmony with nature.
The Tourist Office has selected local craftsmen and creators to help you (re)discover local know-how and products: decoration, accessories, games, books and many other gifts to give to your loved ones… Or to treat yourself of course!

Do you want peace and quiet and nature? Head for the lake of Cazaux The second largest freshwater lake in France, renowned for its tranquillity, protected from the wind by its forest, it has fine sandy beaches and wild creeks…
The waters of the Lac de Cazaux are reputed to be calm and suitable for swimming for young and old. Laouga beach is a small paradise away from the urban world. Protected by pine trees, it offers safe swimming and a pleasant moment lying on the fine sand (free parking, public toilets, picnic tables)
From the A660, take the direction of Cazaux by the road to La Teste, D112, on the left at the 3rd roundabout from Bordeaux.
